O, Miami has announced its impressive lineup for the annual O, Miami Poetry Festival, taking place April 1 – 30, 2025.
With over 40 events, this year’s festival will aim to reach every person in South Florida, from the foodies and families to stargazers and skateboarders. New highlights for this year include: O, Miami’s planetarium debut at Frost Science Museum, a clothing + poem trade pop-up, poetry dominos celebrating diasporic communities, an oyster tasting experience at Gramps Getaway, graveyard poetry, a workshop for caregivers of those with dementia and terminally-ill diseases, and more. Festival favorites will return including the kid-approved Poetry in Pajamas at Miami Beach Botanical Garden and the 10-year celebration of the organization’s beloved Zip Odes at Vizcaya. You can find the festival schedule HERE, with more events being added in the coming days.
Also new to O, Miami this year, a fresh new public art initiative – Soy de Todas Partes (“I am of all places”) will debut several new installations over April, providing a deep-dive into multiculturalism and the modern immigrant experience of South Florida.
