Nick Cannon Celebrates Grand Opening of Wild ‘N Out Sports Bar and Arcade in San Diego

Multi-faceted entertainer and San Diego local Nick Cannon celebrated the grand opening of his Wild ‘N Out Sports Bar and Arcade, a new 3,500-square-foot “eatertainment” destination in the heart of San Diego’s bustling Gaslamp Quarter, with a ribbon cutting and party last night.

Cannon joined representatives from the City of San Diego in a ribbon cutting in front of a crowd of fans who had gathered along Sixth Avenue. The ceremony was followed by a red carpet arrival with Cannon, Hitman Holla, battle rapper and MTV’s “Wild ‘N Out” crew member; Justina Valentine, television host and MTV’s “Wild ‘N Out” cast member; and members of the “Wild ‘N Out” Girls including Taelor ParkerJessica Killings and Rosa Acosta.

Cannon and friends enjoyed a variety of Wild ‘N Out signature cocktails, including Cannon’s own The Big Cloud, a larger than life shareable two-gallon party bucket cocktail made with Teremana Tequila blanco, Maker’s Mark, lemonade, peach and blue raspberry lemonade Kool-Aid, garnished with fresh pineapple, lemons, cherries and tiki umbrellas; and the Candy Shop, a blend of 50 Cent’s Branson Cognac V.S. Phantom, peach schnapps, lemonade and grenadine with a side shot of Branson Cognac V.S. Phantom. The group also enjoyed a selection of Wild ‘N Out signature favorites including the WNO Burger, a Black Angus beef patty topped with cheddar cheese, WNO sauce, lettuce, pickles, tomatoes and crispy shoestring onions atop a brioche bun; fresh beer battered lobster fried crispy and served with waffle fries; and Wild ‘N Out shareable buckets of fried dill pickle chips, among other items.

Ever the dynamic entertainer, Cannon officially welcome guests to the opening of his first San Diego restaurant by walking throughout the venue, posing for photos, videos and FaceTime calls with fans both in attendance and virtually. The multi-purpose ‘eatertainment’ destination features live entertainment, classic arcade games, larger than life cocktails and elevated sports bar dishes, along with memorabilia from Cannon’s famed MTV show. The party continued into the late hours of the evening, with Cannon performing a late-night DJ set that had the lively crowd on their feet.
