Presented by Gala Chairs Sarah Arison and Thomas Wilhelm, the black-tie affair raised the most funds in all of NWS history! All proceeds from the 30th Anniversary Gala benefit New World Symphony’s mission to provide meaningful, cultural programs to the South Florida community, while preparing young musicians for careers in the world of classical music.
Titled “Passing it On: Thirty Years of Musical Innovation,” the gala celebrated the many achievements of the organization, its Founder and Artistic Director, Michael Tilson Thomas (MTT) and the entire New World Symphony Fellowship program and community. The event’s decor at the iconic Frank Gehry-designed New World Center was gorgeous with white and purple flowers and unique crystal details. Guests enjoyed an elegant cocktail reception at the beginning of the evening, followed by a performance conducted by MTT and a seated dinner staged by Thierry Isabert Culinary and Event Design.
