New Life For Old Cell Phones

We all have them—a collection of cell phones that were state-of- the-art when we first got them and now are obsolete, mere relics that serve no purpose. Yet for some reason we hold on to them.

Did you ever wonder what to do with your old cell phone? Consider donating it to the Ann Storck Center!

The phones are sold to a company that recycles the parts and the batteries.  The Ann Storck Center receives from $2.50 to $100 for each phone.  Phones of all sizes and shapes and are accepted. Chargers, adapters and boxes are not needed.

By donating your old cell phone with the battery, you can directly help the Ann Storck Center in raising much needed funds for the programs and services provided to the 300 children and adults with developmental disabilities served.

The goal is to collect 1000 cell phones.

To help the Ann Storck Center reach their goal, South Florida Spine Clinic, 3000 Bayview Drive, Ft Lauderdale, Florida has offered to be a designated drop-off site for old cell phones. Donations are accepted Monday through Friday from 9 am to 4 pm.

To donate directly to the Ann Storck Center,  or to start your own Give It Back donation drive for the organization,  contact: Mona Desvarieux at 954.584.8000 x365 for more information.
