On Friday, April 29, 2011, National Hotel Miami Beach held one of the city’s most buzzed-about viewing parties in honor of the much-anticipated marriage of England’s Prince William to fiancé Kate Middleton. Held at The Restaurant and Blues Bar and beginning at 6:00 a.m., 60 guests enjoyed a traditional “Full English Breakfast,” while the more than 20 women decked out in their finest Kate Middleton hat sipped complimentary Kir Royals. In a grand finale, the love-struck crowd stood, clapped and cheered with excitement as Prince William kissed his new bride on Buckingham Palace’s balcony, just as his father kissed his late mother in 1981.
