More Than 300 Art Enthusiasts Gathered at AE District for "True Hip-Hop"

More than 300 art and hip-hop lovers gathered last week for photographer Mike Schreiber’s debut of “True Hip-Hop” at AE District in Miami’s Design District. The event was hosted by Talib Kweli with music by Keen One + Chris Culture and a Q&A section with Mike. The exhibition will be open to the public from November 10 to November 26.

Schreiber is a self-taught photographer whose work has graced the pages of Esquire, Rolling Stone and New York Magazine. His talent has also been featured on high-profile ad campaigns for Mountain Dew, AND-1, City Year and Partnership for a Drug-Free America. His clients include Atlantic, Epic, Sony, and Universal Records. But Schreiber’s work is not limited to entertainment; among his other subjects are prisoners in the Louisiana State Penitentiary, also known as Angola, people of Cuba and a dog park series.
