President Bill Clinton, Secretary Hillary Rodham Clinton, and Chelsea Clinton announced additional participants and programming for the Clinton Global Initiative (CGI) 2022 Meeting in New York, September 19-20. For the first time since 2016, CGI is bringing together global and emerging leaders to take action on the world’s most pressing challenges, including climate change, health equity, inclusive economic growth, the global refugee crisis, and threats to the rights and prosperity of girls and women. With the theme “The Business of How,” the CGI 2022 Meeting will include announcements of new Commitments to Action™ – specific, measurable programs that address a pressing global challenge – as well as updates on the impact of previous CGI commitments. More than 3,700 Commitments to Action have been launched through CGI since its inception in 2005, making a difference in the lives of more than 435 million people in over 180 countries.
