Monsters of Rock” Blue Oyster Cult to Perform at Seminole Casino Coconut Creek on May 10

The American rock band Blue Öyster Cult will perform for one night only at The Pavilion at Seminole Casino Coconut Creek. Tickets are on sale now.

Blue Öyster Cult is best known for such classic songs as “Don’t Fear The Reaper,” “Burnin’ for You,” and “Godzilla.” Since their 1972 self-titled album, the group has sold over 24 million albums worldwide including seven million in the United States. Their current line-up includes long-time members, Donald “Buck Dharma” Roeser (lead guitar, vocals) and Eric Bloom (lead vocals, rhythm guitar, keyboard), as well as Jules Radino (drums, percussion), Richie Castellano (keyboard, guitar, vocals) and Rudy Sarzo (bass guitar).

In May 1976, came their fourth studio album, Agents of Fortune, including the Top 40 hit single “(Don’t Fear) The Reaper” (featured in the classic horror film Halloween). It became their first gold and then platinum album. In 1978 they released their second live album, Some Enchanted Evening, which would eventually become their second million-seller, followed by the studio album Mirrors in 1979. A year later, Blue Öyster Cult released its ninth album, Cultsaurus Erectus, with the gold Fire of Unknown Origin, containing the Top 40 hit “Burnin’ for You,” following in June 1981.
