The official kickoff event will take place at the Wall Lounge in the W Hotel on Friday, March 30. The official after party on Saturday, March 31 will be at the Perry Hotel Rooftop from 9pm-1am and is open to the public with a suggested donation for Models4Water.
The 3rd annual Ludus Athletics Model Beach Volleyball Tournament in association with the National Volleyball League (NVL) is a public event where all of the top modeling agencies get together and form co-ed teams and compete in this amazing 2-day tournament. This year, we have partnered up with the NVL and their Olympic gold-medal Volleyball athletes will be on site at the event coaching each of these agency teams. The event gets a minimum of 1000 spectators throughout the weekend.
Champions, Olympic US qualifiers and number four-ranked team in the world April Ross & Jennifer Kessy will be present at the event as two of the ten pro coaches representing the NVL.

Finalists & winners will receive an all expense weekend getaway, to the luxurious Bimini Bay Resort and Marina. Here, four teams will compete in a rematch at the resort’s grand opening of Sakara Beach Club, on one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. Each member of the winning team will also win a Glam Rock Watch valued at $400 and a 1-year membership to Crunch Gym.
Attendees will enjoy live music by some of Miami’s top DJs including Willy Monfret, Crespo, Jordan Postrel & Triarchy and enjoy complimentary sampling by all participating sponsors. Leblon Cachaca will be serving complimentary caipirinhas out of their Leblon mobile truck in the VIP Tent and STK will be serving signature menu items.
MBVT’s sole charity sponsor is Models 4 Water, an organization founded by Supermodels Heide Lindgren and Georgie Badiel, which has partnered with The Water Project to help empower and change the lives of women in Burkina Faso, Africa, by building and developing clean, sustainable drinking water and hygiene projects. Models 4 Water’s Heide Lindgren along with the charity’s Global Ambassadors will be on site all weekend long helping to raise awareness and funds for this very inspiring initiative.
