MOCA is pleased to offer its Associate ($1000 +) and above level members this exciting Art Trip to Chicago, providing an insider’s view of the Chicago art scene, influential galleries, museums, renowned private collections and artists’ studios. Led by MOCA’s Executive Director & Chief Curator, Bonnie Clearwater, this MOCA Art Trip has been especially tailored for MOCA’s Trustees and upper-level members.

We will be staying at the deluxe Park Hyatt Hotel, located in the heart of Chicago’s Magnificent Mile, within walking distance to shops, cafes and museums.

Highlights of the trip include:
– Special viewing of the newly opened Modern Wing of the Art Institute of Chicago
– Visits to important private collections
– Special access to artists’ studios, galleries and museums
– Dining at some of Chicago’s best restaurants!

The total cost of the trip is $3,000.00 per person for a double occupancy room or $3,400.00 per person for a single occupancy room. All expenses for various events, museum admissions, transportation around Chicago, numerous receptions, lunches, dinners and a $1,000.00 donation dedicated to MOCA.

Participants are responsible for their own transportation including airfare and ground transport to and from the airport. Please observe the check-in time for the Park Hyatt Hotel is 3:00 PM on Thursday, October 22 and the check out time is 12:00 noon on Sunday, October 25. We will begin the trip activities on Thursday afternoon and finish early Sunday afternoon. Flights home should be booked for Sunday evening. The accommodations reserved are Park View Kings, but there are upgrade options available upon request.

In order to reserve your space, a 50% deposit must accompany registration and the remaining balance is due by 09/14/09. All payments are non-refundable.
