L.U.P.O. Lorenzelli Projects, a cutting-edge gallery founded and operated by a team of under-30 art experts in Milan, is set to debut at the 2024 Untitled Art Fair in Miami. The gallery will present “NEW BODY,” a duo showcase featuring the innovative works of artists Giuseppe Mulas from Turin and Seong Jin Jeong from Seoul. As the only Italian gallery selected for the fair’s NEST section—dedicated to emerging galleries and artists—L.U.P.O. aims to bridge cultural and geographical divides through its curated offerings.
Giuseppe Mulas draws inspiration from his experiences with an indigenous community in the Amazon, exploring themes of nature, identity, and desire in his vibrant and symbolic artworks. His pieces invite viewers to engage in a profound exploration of the human experience. Meanwhile, Seong Jin Jeong presents dynamic reinterpretations of mythological figures, seamlessly blending Eastern and Western traditions. Using technology as a medium, Jeong challenges conventional boundaries with his modular head sculptures, exploring themes of interconnectedness.
With this premiere at the Untitled Art Fair, L.U.P.O. seeks to highlight the significance of contemporary art in fostering dialogue and understanding across cultures.
