On Wednesday, December 6th & Thursday, December 7th, Chef Edson Yamashita, and MILA Omakase’s Chef Reiji Yoshizawa come together to curate an unforgettable 14-course Omakase experience that promises to awaken the senses and leave an indelible impression on the palate. Sharing culinary experiences and techniques, this exclusive collaboration is expertly curated to elevate guests’ taste buds and transport them on a multi-sensory culinary journey through the unique flavors of Japan with reimagined dishes, exquisite creations, refined flavor profiles and artful presentation. Elevated with a distinctive modernist approach and both Chef’s well-traveled culinary experience, this collaboration pays homage to MILA Omakase’s ever-changing menu, which evolves in harmony with the 72 Japanese micro-seasons.
A master in the art of Japanese cuisine, Chef Edson Yamashita began his culinary journey at the age of 15 and joined the crew of Sushi Kan where he learned the philosophy of master Saramoto, a legendary icon of the Kampachi Sushi School. 17 years later, Chef Yamashita has been recognized in 3 Michelin Guides as well as the Veja Comer e Beber ’Best Japanese Restaurant Award’.
