Miami International Mall, one of Miami’s leading shopping destinations, is currently seeking nominations for the coveted “Noche de Honor” award. As part of the 6th Annual Hispanic Heritage Celebration, the chosen nominee will be honored during the “Noche de Honor” VIP Cocktail Reception on Fri., Oct. 1, 2010.
“Together with the City of Doral, Miami International Mall is excited to recognize one extraordinary man or woman who is committed to serving the community and has earned a stellar reputation for their work in South Florida,” said Maria Prado, mall manager, Miami International Mall. “We would like to encourage everyone to nominate the exceptional individual in their life.”
The recipient of the award will be honored in front of local dignitaries, community leaders, prominent media and special guests at the “Noche de Honor” VIP Cocktail Reception. With a portion of the proceeds to benefit the League Against Cancer/La Liga Contra el Cancer and the Simon Youth Foundation, the event, which serves as the kick-off for the weekend long Hispanic Heritage Celebration, features the awards presentation and a high energy fashion show. Additional weekend festivities include folkloric music and dance performances, country exhibits, art and flag displays, live entertainment and the fashions of South America, Central America and the Caribbean.
