Miami Grand Prix Set to Unleash Massive Upgrades Across F1 Grid

This year’s Miami Grand Prix is shaping up to be a game-changing event, with teams bringing unprecedented upgrade packages due to new regulations that have accelerated development early in the season.

Typically, teams aim to debut major updates at Bahrain; however, the cancellation of April’s first two races has given them extra time to design, produce, and stockpile new parts. As a result, the scale of upgrades across the grid could be immense.

McLaren’s Team Principal Andrea Stella describes his team’s efforts as nearly creating a new car, particularly focusing on aerodynamic improvements. “We always planned to deliver a completely new car for the North American races,” Stella said. “The changed calendar allowed us to work more efficiently, and I believe most teams will show entirely new packages in Miami and Canada.”

With extensive updates expected, Miami is set to witness a major shake-up as teams showcase their most aggressive development efforts so far this season.
