MIAMI DOLPHINS UNVEIL NEW DOLPHINS.COM FEATURING DAN MARINO, BOB GRIESE, HANK GOLDBERG AND THE FINSIDERS

The Miami Dolphins unveiled an all-new Dolphins.com today.  The revamped site includes live video, audio, and text, including game day and non-game day coverage, as well as weekly segments with Dan Marino, Bob Griese, Hank Goldberg and The Finsiders.  Designed to function in tandem with the NFL’s state-of-the-art web platform, the site was built as a one-stop destination for Dolphins content and will house videos, articles, podcasts, and social media feeds from around the web, both live and on demand.  It will also feature a new and more robust Online Pro Shop for Dolphins fans.

“The singular objective of this new web site is to give Dolphins fans one-click access to team news, information, and multimedia, all under one digital roof,” said Dolphins CEO Mike Dee.  “Everything our fans are looking for – including live audio and video, blogs, articles, podcasts and tweets – can now be found at Dolphins.com.”

With a brand new look and feel, the new Dolphins.com will be the exclusive home of 13 Minutes with Marino, a weekly segment featuring the Hall of Fame quarterback’s perspective on the Dolphins and the rest of the league.  Hosts Jesse Agler and John Congemi will interview Marino, taking select questions from fans via the Dolphins Facebook and Twitter pages –Facebook.com/MiamiDolphins and Twitter.com/MiamiDolphins.

Local legend Hank “the Hammer” Goldberg and new Dolphins radio analyst Bob Griese will also be regular contributors to the new Dolphins.com, with each headlining a weekly segment with The Finsiders.  Goldberg will be joined by a national guest every week.   Regular segments on The Finsiders, such as “Behind Enemy Lines” – which features players and beat writers of upcoming opponents – will continue.

The Finsiders is a live weekday afternoon show dedicated to Dolphins football that streams audio and video to more than 15,000 viewers via Dolphins.com and the new Dolphins mobile app from 5-7 p.m.  The show is also heard by more than 20,000 weekly listeners on WINZ 940-AM in South Florida.

The Dolphins kick off their 2011 regular season schedule against the New England Patriots on Monday, September 12, 2011 at 7:00 p.m.  Pre-game coverage begins at 5 p.m. with the Tony Sparano Show on Dolphins.com, the Miami Dolphins Radio Network, and the new Dolphins mobile app.  The new Dolphins mobile app is currently free and available for download on most smart phones and tablets.
