The Miami Dolphins are holding an open audition as they look for South Florida’s greatest voices to be a part of a their 8-piece National Anthem A Cappella group, the DOLPHINS VOICES. The 2010 edition of DOLPHINS VOICES, will once again be arranged and directed by world renown creator and musician Derric Johnson. The group will perform at all Dolphin home games at Sun Life Stadium as well as other selected events throughout the 2010 season. In 2009, the group performed at numerous events including Don Shula’s 80th Birthday party, the NFL national flag football championship, and a holiday tour throughout South Florida.
The auditions will be held on Friday, April 16th at Gryphon at the SEMINOLE HARD ROCK HOTEL starting at 3:00 p.m. and on Saturday, April 17th at BONGOS CUBAN CAFÉ with a 10:00 a.m. start. All vocalists are required to be over the age of 18 and must be prepared to demonstrate their vocal range by performing multiple musical selections of their choice.
Participants will be selected for an invitation only call back which will be held on July 10, 2010.
