DETAILS:              The Miami Dolphins Foundation Food Relief Program will partner with local restaurants to distribute more than 10,000 meals to the South Florida community on Wednesday, Nov. 25. Organizational partners of the Food Relief Program will host a series of distribution sites throughout Broward, Miami-Dade and Palm Beach counties, identifying recipients through various community programs. The Food Relief Program is continuing its year-long commitment of supporting local minority-owned restaurants while addressing food insecurity in our community as a result of COVID-19.

This initiative is part of the Miami Dolphins winning the NFL Huddle for 100 club competition, a league wide effort to encourage volunteerism and meaningful contributions throughout the country. In 2019, the Dolphins led the NFL with 75,623,500 volunteer minutes. As a result, the organization received a $100,000 grand prize which was allocated to the Miami Dolphins Foundation Food Relief Program.
