The Miami Dolphins Cheerleaders this year took their calendar shoot onboard Norwegian Cruise Line’s newest ship Norwegian Getaway, as well as in the ship’s ports of call of Nassau, St. Maarten and St. Thomas. This marks an innovative approach to the traditional calendar shoot, showcasing Miami’s international appeal as well as the Miami Dolphins close partnership with Norwegian.
Twenty one selected Miami Dolphins Cheerleaders embarked on Saturday, March 21, 2015 to sail on Norwegian Getaway for the 2016 Cheerleader Swimsuit Calendar. The grand unveiling of the final swimsuit calendar is scheduled for later this summer during the cheerleaders’ annual fashion show reveal party.
For the first time the squad shot the calendar onboard, furthering their role as the ship’s Godmothers. The squad christened Norwegian Getaway during a star-studded onboard event in February 2014.
