The Miami Design Preservation League is excited to announce its partnership with Jazz Age Lawn Party for the 40th anniversary of the Art Deco Weekend festival in Miami Beach. Jazz Age Lawn Party is the world’s original and largest prohibition era inspired gathering. Hosted and conceived by Michael Arenella of Michael Arenella and his Dreamland Orchestra, the event offers a magical opportunity to travel back in time. Art Deco Weekend featuring Jazz Age Lawn Party will take place on Ocean Drive on Miami Beach on January 13-15, 2017. Art Deco Weekend is a free cultural community festival offering over 85 events during the 3-day festival. Jazz Age Lawn Party will be an exclusive ticketed event. Jazz Age Lawn Party’s programming will include hot jazz by Michael Arenella and his Dreamland Orchestra,1920’s dance lessons and performances, vintage beach games, cocktails and gourmet picnic baskets, pop-up evening cocktail parties around South Beach and exclusive hotel getaway packages over the holiday weekend.
