Miami-Dade County Community Services Department (CSD) Summer Food Service Program (SFSP) will continue to work with organizations throughout Miami-Dade County to provide free nutritious meals to youth 18 years of age and under during the summer. We are currently recruiting sites with summer programs to partner with us in providing these free meals in our local communities throughout the county. That could be you!
Free meals will be provided during the months of June, July, and August of 2026 at sites located throughout Miami-Dade County. CSD is ensuring that all programming operations are done with utmost health and safety protocols.
The SFSP is funded by the U.S. Department of Agriculture with oversight from the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services. The program provides free, nutritionally balanced meals to children during summer recess when school breakfasts and lunches are not available. CSD will be serving both hot and cold meals at participating sites via on site consumption, ensuring maximum compliance with health and safety standards. All meals are prepared using fresh and locally grown foods.
The program will operate this upcoming summer from June 8, 2026, through August 12, 2026. Nutritious meals will be provided to youth 18 years and younger regardless of income, race, color, sex, disability, age or national origin.
