Miami Dade College’s acclaimed Miami Film Festival returns April 3 to 13, 2025, bringing a dynamic lineup of over 198 feature narratives, documentaries and short films from more than 45 countries. Celebrating its reputation as the premier showcase for Ibero-American cinema in the U.S., this year’s festival opens with Meet the Barbarians, directed by Julie Delpy, and closes with Daniel Minahan’s On Swift Horses. This year marks the festival’s exciting return to the historic Olympia Theater for special screenings. Unique events include a Pride & Prejudice 20th Anniversary outdoor screening as part of a special Jane Austen celebration and the Miami debut of Uncomfortable Brunch, featuring a screening of Secretary with a curated brunch experience.
