MIA ANGELA LEONIN teaches creative writing at the University of Miami. She is the author of two books of poetry, Braid and Unraveling the Bed. Her poems have been published in such journals as New Letters, Indiana Review, and Prairie Schooner. Her memoir, Havana and Other Missing Fathers (University of Arizona Press), tells of her search for the truth about her family.
