Meliá Orlando Celebration has recently launched a Work-from-Meliá one-bedroom-suite, a new suite-style room that offers guests a curated remote work experience. The one-bedroom suite offers a private workspace with calming tropical views of the resort’s vanishing edge pool. The suite comes with two desks, equipped with a desktop computer featuring camera and headphones, a laptop dock with USB-C compatibility, and comfortable lumbar-supporting office chairs. Guests of this suite will also receive access to the hotel’s conference rooms, should they need more room to work. Work-from-Melia suite guests will have access to the fastest internet speed on property at 1Gbps speed.
When not plugging away, guests can also enjoy breakfast in bed via room service, or work lunches at 360 American Bistro & Bar. Guests can rise and shine in the morning with a jog around the charming town of Celebration and spend after work hours dipping in the pool or hot tub.
In May, Meliá Hotels International announced the debut of the Stay Safe with Meliá program. The company has partnered with Bureau Veritas, a company leader in inspection, certification, and testing, to ensure the Meliá Hotels International system is achieving the highest standards in the management of preventative measures to combat COVID-19 in its hotels worldwide. Melia Orlando Celebration and all 340 hotels around the globe have modified their facilities and redesigned all their processes to reduce direct interaction and maintain hygiene standards and social distancing across each property. These safety measures include temperature checks of all guests upon arrival, special PPE amenities kits with a mask, gloves and hydroalcoholic gel, and strictly enforcing social distancing at restaurants, pools, and entertainment activities.
The Work-From-Meliá suite is available for day bookings from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. at $80 and overnight rates at $89/night. Guests looking for longer stays can book weekly rates starting at $525/week.
