Master Sommelier Virginia Philip to Co-Host Domaine Carneros® Wine Pairing Dinner At NYY Steak in Seminole Casino Coconut Creek

 Master Sommelier Virginia Philip will co-host the Domaine Carneros® Wine Pairing Dinner on Thursday, April 7, at NYY Steak in Seminole Casino Coconut Creek.

 

Philip will be joined by TJ Evans, Pinot Noir Winemaker for Domaine Carneros®, which is based in Napa Valley, Calif.

 

Philip’s career includes a list of recognition spanning more than a decade. She’s considered to be an expert among experts and her opinions are sought by journalists, colleagues and other sommeliers alike. In addition to her work with NYY Steak and Sorrisi at Seminole Casino Coconut Creek, she is also Master Sommelier for The Breakers in Palm Beach and runs the Virginia Philip Wine & Shop Academy in West Palm Beach.

 

The event will begin at 7:30 p.m. with a cocktail reception at Legends Lounge, followed by an innovative four-course meal at 8 p.m. featuring the following Domaine Carneros® Wines – La Reve de Blanc ’06, Pinto Claire, Pinot Noir ’12 and Brut Rose NV.

 

The courses will include Diver Scallops with Sweet Peas (1st), Alaskan Halibut with Chervil (2nd) and Wagyu Beef Tenderloin (3rd). The dessert offered will be Boutique Domestic Cheese, Seasonal Berry Compote and Local Honeycomb.
