In collaboration with top Miami “iPhoneographers” Brian Ladder @brianladder and Jose Narvaez @oasisjae, the triple Five-Star Mandarin Oriental, Miami launches cell phone photography and editing lessons with the #MiamiMyWay class series. The first class will take place on Thursday, September 24, 2015 at MO Bar + Lounge from 6pm to 7:30pm. On Thursday, October 22, 2015 #MiamiMyWay will be offered at the waterfront La Mar by Gaston Acurio.
With the guidance of Instagram “suggested users” Ladder and Narvaez, participants will use gadgets such as selfie sticks, stick-on lenses and photo editing applications to create high-quality photos and build their own enviable social media pages. Guests are encouraged to upload their favorite memories by tagging @MO_MIAMI and using the hashtag #MiamiMyWay to join the conversation with other fans. Public posts will be entered into a contest to be judged by Ladder and Narvaez offering dinner for two to the winner from each class.
The #MiamiMyWay classes are priced at USD 35 per person. At MO Bar + Lounge, guests will enjoy two cocktails and a choice of one signature sushi roll including a Spicy Tuna Roll or the Anticucho Roll with Yellowtail, Crab Meat, Avocado, Sweet Potato, and Anticuchera Sauce. The second installation at La Mar will include one cocktail and a tasting of the restaurant’s most popular dishes.
