Mancini Modern Italian Hosts Interactive Mozzarella Making Class and Wine Pairing

Every Wednesday

6:30 p.m.  (one seating every week)

PRICE:              $30 (not including tax and gratuity)

Legend has it that mozzarella was first made when milk curds accidently fell into a pail of hot water in a cheese factory near Naples. Thanks to this mozzarella mishap, cheese heads have been enjoying the silky, smooth dairy delight on pizzas and pastas across the world.

Mancini Modern Italian will offer a hands-on mozzarella making experience starting at 6:30 p.m. every Wednesday for $30.

Executive Chef Claudio Sandri will teach patrons how to transform curds and then guide guests on how to stretch and mold curds into creamy half-pound mozzarella balls. Chef Claudio will share his brine brilliance while patrons enjoy a complimentary flute of Prosecco, glass of red or white wine and an antipasto sampling.

So that the cheese doesn’t stand alone, the fresh Mozzarella will be served with a balsamic jam, thick slices of vine ripened heirloom tomatoes and ciabatta bread.

Upon completion of the hands-on affair, guests are encouraged to stay for dinner and receive half-off any bottle of wine.
