An influential West Coast heavy metal quartet and pioneers in the modern metalcore sound, Machine Head’swork ethic, aggressive playing, and relentless self-promotion eventually landed them a recording deal. Their blistering debut, 1994’s Burn My Eyes, blended the powerful, modern attack of Pantera and Alice in Chains with the volatility of classic thrash bands like Death Angel and Slayer, earning them a huge following. The record sold over 500,000 copies. The band went on to release nine studio albums, two live albums, one video album, 13 singles and 15 music videos. Now 25 years later they are celebrating Burn My Eyes, along with a live studio rerecording of the album, and bringing it to audiences and fans around the world.
