Luminaire Lab will be filled with a series of installations that explore the poetics of design, time, space, materials and movement. Featuring work by both established and up-and-coming luminaries, the Lab will host an exhibition by renowned Italian designer Angelo Mangiarotti as well as a display of objects by the avant-garde Gruppo T. Additionally, Luminaire Lab will highlight rising design stars including François Brument, whose one of a kind vessels result from sound waves combined with digital 3-D modeling techniques, as well as a site-specific installation by Japanese designer Nao Tamura, whose delicate work explores themes of nature and the seasons.
