Love Heals All Wounds is a full-length dance performance interwoven with spoken word, original music and projections featuring dancers Lil Buck and Jon Boogz, who share a mission of improving our world through dance. Emerging from the street-dance scenes of Memphis (Buck) and Miami (Boogz), the dancers became acquainted in Los Angeles, connecting through similar ideals about dance as a way of bringing people together and challenging their perceptions.
Having toured and collaborated alongside stars like Madonna (Buck), Gloria Estefan (Boogz), Yo-Yo Ma, Terrence Malick, and completing work on a recent Rag and Bone fashion campaign featuring Mikhail Baryshnikov, the two are turning their attention toward using dance as a way of addressing societal issues.
Love Heals All Wounds takes the audience on a journey delving past the headlines to explore police brutality, mass incarceration, and the cycle of trauma – societal issues we face as a global community.
Developed through Movement Art Is (MAI), co-founded by Jon Boogz and Lil Buck, an organization that uses movement artistry to inspire and change the world while elevating the artistic, educational, and social impact of dance. Subsidized in part by New England Foundation for the Arts’ National Dance Project.

Tickets to all these performances will be available to Arsht Center Culturist Members beginning on August 26 at noon EST and to the general public beginning September 7 at 10 a.m. EST.
