| Join us for another another Rare Cuban Vinyl listening session with GARO – a DJ and music producer from Havana, Cuba and a pioneer of hip hop on the island. He has been a resident artist with MLP for 15 years, and a featured artist for Global Cuba Fest since 2011. As a follow up to the wildly, successful session kicking off, Global Cuba Fest 2022, MLP and Fundarte are presenting an all vinyl session focused on rare Cuban records ranging from the 1950s to 2000s to kick off this year’s program. Garo’s rare Cuba vinyl sessions include unique genres and limited pressings. Together, we will take A ride through afro extremely rare recordings of past and present Cuban recordings Cuban, all with an ear tuned to Hip Hop sampling.
