Legendary artist Lionel Richie brings his “Hello Tour” to Hard Rock Event Center at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Fla. Saturday, July 27, at 8 p.m. Tickets go on sale Friday, March 29, at 10 a.m. Citibank cardholders and Lionel Richie fan club members can access presale tickets beginning Tuesday, March 26, at 10 a.m. Additionally, fans can access presale tickets beginning Thursday, March 28, at 10 a.m. through Seminole Hard Rock Hollywood’s Facebook and Twitter pages.

 

With more than 100 million albums sold worldwide, Richie is a true music icon. He has been honored with an Oscar, Golden Globe, four Grammy Awards, the distinction of MusiCares Person of the Year in 2016 and Kennedy Center Honoree in 2017. The Tuskegee, Ala. native is one of only two songwriters in history to have charted No. 1 records for nine consecutive years. In March 2018, Richie put his handprints and footprints in cement at the TCL Chinese Theatre in Hollywood, one of Hollywood’s oldest honors. Richie is currently a judge on ABC’s “American Idol.”

 

All online tickets will include a CD copy of Richie’s new album, “Live from Las Vegas,” which will debut Aug. 23. The album was recorded at Zappos Theater at the Planet Hollywood Las Vegas Resort & Casino. It features Richie performing material from throughout his career, including beloved songs from his solo albums, “All Night Long,” “Say You, Say Me,” “Hello,” “Dancing On The Ceiling” and “Truly,” and his time with The Commodores, where he developed a groundbreaking style that defied genre categories, penning smash hits such as “Three Times a Lady” and “Easy.” The album also includes an inspiring performance of the landmark song “We Are the World,” which Richie co-wrote for USA for Africa.

 

Tickets cost $361.50, $211.50, $186.50, $136.50 and $101.50. tickets include a $6.50 album fee.
