Latin2Latin Marketing + Communications Hosts Special Reception for Children’s Diagnostic & Treatment Center

Latin2Latin Marketing + Communications hosted an intimate reception called “Bringing CDTC Kids to Life” on Tuesday, September 21, 2010 at their new office location at Riverwalk Plaza in Fort Lauderdale.  The special night dedicated to Children’s Diagnostic & Treatment Center (CDTC) was an opportunity to highlight the children served as well as the new professionals networking group at CDTC, the CDTC Transformers.  Over 60 members of the South Florida community attended this event hosted by Arminda “Mindy” Figueroa, founder and president of Latin2Latin Marketing + Communications and a proud CDTC Transformer, as a chance to introduce potential Transformers to the Center and its mission.  A presentation was given by Dr. Ana Calderon, Assistant Administrator of CDTC, Philip Fitzpatrick of BankAtlantic and Jay Forte of Humanetrics, all CDTC Transformers.

The event featured a silent auction with items donated generously by the Miami Heat, local artist Elizabeth Baez, and Brooklyn Bowtique. Special thanks to sponsor Pollo Tropical for providing the hors d’oeuvres for the evening.

“Giving back to the community is at the center of our company’s core values,” said Arminda “Mindy” Figueroa, President of Latin2Latin Marketing + Communications. “After touring CDTC, I was overwhelmed with emotion at the amazing work that CDTC does for at risk children; and, many knew nothing about it.   It was then, that I felt the need to spread the word in the community, especially among Latinos.”

“We are so grateful to Ms. Figueroa and her staff at Latin2Latin Marketing + Communications for hosting such an amazing evening! It was a wonderful opportunity to introduce the work we do at the Center to the business community,” said Dr. Calderon of CDTC.

The Children’s Diagnostic & Treatment Center (CDTC) is a not-for-profit organization that serves more than 10,000 children with special health care needs in Broward County.
