La Prairie presents Wave, a unique light installation created by Spanish artist Pablo Valbuena. Conceived to be experienced by the public-at-large, this mesmerizing art piece recalls the light dancing on an ocean wave, paying tribute to Miami Beach’s iconic oceanfront and creating an intimate dialogue between the artwork and its location.
Enjoy a glass of champagne as you discover the Wave art installation. All guests will receive a skincare sample from La Prairie.
Pablo Valbuena develops art projects and research focused on space, time and perception. Born in Spain, he is currently based in the south of France.
His works have been installed in public and private institutions, biennials and galleries in the form of exhibitions, site-specific commissions and large-scale public interventions throughout Europe, Asia and America. Mr Valbuena has also addressed these topics in academic contexts through artist talks and invited professorships.
