For the first time Susan G. Komen Miami/Ft. Lauderdale Affiliate took part in Miami’s Calle Ocho Festival, which is known as the largest street festival on earth. Komen On the Go’s signature bright pink vehicle was on exhibit.
During the festival Komen volunteers encouraged everyone to take charge of their breast health and empowered individu
als to share information with friends and join the breast cancer movement.
