KLM Royal Dutch Airlines To Add New Services From Miami and Salt Lake City

Beginning May 5, 2016, KLM Royal Dutch Airlines will operate twice-weekly service from Salt Lake City International Airport (SLC) to Amsterdam Airport Schiphol (AMS), with flight frequency being increased to three times weekly from July 4, 2016. Additionally, at the start of the 2016 winter schedule, KLM will add thrice-weekly service from Miami International Airport (MIA) to AMS.

From May 5, 2016, KLM’s service from Salt Lake City will depart on Thursdays and Saturdays and an additional flight will be added on Mondays starting from July 4, 2016. KLM will cater to customer requirements by offering three different passenger classes aboard the A330-200 with 30 seats in World Business Class, 35 seats in Economy Comfort and 178 seats in Economy class. The new KLM flights to Salt Lake City supplement the existing flights between Salt Lake City and Amsterdam operated by Delta Air Lines, which has a transatlantic joint-venture with Air France-KLM. Salt Lake City is one of Delta’s five hubs, and thanks to its code-sharing agreement with Delta, KLM offers its passengers flights to more than 50 North American destinations out of Salt Lake City.

KLM took the first bold steps towards recovery in 2015 and we are now starting to reap the benefits. KLM is investing in its network and offering its customers an even wider choice of destinations.”
