As if a last-minute getaway to Miami isn’t sweet enough, starting April 1, Kimpton’s EPIC Hotel, located in downtown Miami, will offer a much-needed break from hotel and restaurant taxes with its “Sweet Tax Relief” package.  In addition to ridding guests of hotel and restaurant taxes, EPIC will further sweeten the deal with candy bar bonuses when travelers book the “Sweet Tax Relief” package in advance, for stays throughout the month of April.  

“Sweet Tax Relief” package components include:

  • Deluxe overnight accommodations
  • EPIC will pay your room tax
  • EPIC will pay the tax on a meal at Area 31* restaurant, which serves a Mediterranean-inspired menu of fresh, premium seafood, and was recently recognized as “One of the Best New Restaurants of 2009” by Esquire magazine
  • Sweet rewards with treats such as “Payday,” “100 Grand” and “Sugar Daddy” candy bars
  • Late check out, when available, so you can enjoy your tax-free accommodations to their fullest
