Kids Night at the Museum

Online registration closes Thursday, July 11 at 5:00 p.m. Walk-up registrations on July 12 will be accepted until 7:30 p.m. but are subject to a $10 fee per child.

Want to spend a child-free evening on the town while your child explores the museum after dark? Join Kids Night at the Museum on Friday, July 12, a special offering that is exclusively for kids!

Kids can bring their friends, or make some new ones, as they discover Frost Science with a live science show, hands-on activities and enhanced programming throughout the evening. No grownups allowed – except for Frost Science staff and educators, of course! Dinner, late-night snack and movie included.

Children will explore select museum exhibitions, including the Aquarium, Strange Matter, MeLaβ our new special exhibition, The Secret World Inside You, and dig into hands-on science activities before wrapping up their museum exploration night with an exclusive viewing of our newest Frost Planetarium show, Phantom of the Universe: The Hunt for Dark Matter. The evening’s program will end with a movie presentation starting at 10:15 p.m.

Cost is $60 per child (ages 5-17 only), $40 per additional sibling.*
Drop-off is between 6:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. Pick-up is between 10 p.m. – 12 a.m.**

*Discount only applicable to siblings, not other relatives (cousins) or friends.
**Photo ID is required for pick-up. All children must be picked up by 12 a.m. There will be a fee of $5 per minute after 12 a.m. for late pick-ups.
Parking at Frost Science will be available at a flat rate of $10 beginning at 6 p.m.
