KENNY CHESNEY RETURNING TO CRUZAN AMPHITHEATRE

It’s the luck of the Irish for South Florida country music fans!  Superstar Kenny Chesney will be returning to West Palm Beach on St. Patrick’s Day – Thursday, March 17th as part of the 2011 Tire Kingdom Country Megaticket.
In spite of taking off this past year, the 4-time Country Music Association and 4-in-a-row- Academy of Country Music Entertainer of the Year — found himself as the second biggest ticket seller of the decade where he played to more than one million fans for 8 consecutive summers. During Chesney’s year-off, he released his live concert film, Kenny Chesney: Summer In 3-D, the “Boys of Fall” Documentary, and his critically acclaimed album, Hemingway’s Whiskey which debuted at Number One on Billboard’s all genre Top 200 Chart. It’s was Chesney’s sixth album to debut at that coveted spot and his tenth album to hit Number One on the Country Album Chart.

The man the Associated Press calls “among the hardest charging acts on the road” is already excited about returning to the stage. “We’re going to be playing new songs and lots of old favorites, and I can already tell it’s going to be a lot of fun,” says Chesney.  “I can’t wait to get back in front of my fans.”
