Global superstar Kelly Clarkson will bring her “Stronger Tour 2012” to Hard Rock Live at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino on February 16 at 8 p.m. Special guest will be Matt Nathanson. Tickets go on sale Friday, December 16 at noon.
Stronger, Clarkson’s recent studio release, debuted at #2 on the Billboard Top 200 and #2 on the Digital Albums Chart. All five of Kelly’s albums have debuted in the Top 3. The first single, “Mr. Know It All” has reached #4 on the iTunes Singles Chart and marks Clarkson’s ninth Top 10 hit on the Billboard Hot 100.
Since bursting onto the music scene 10 years ago, Kelly Clarkson has sold over 20 million albums worldwide, 10 million albums in the US and has had nine singles in the top 10 on the Billboard Hot 100 Singles Chart. She is the recipient of two Grammy Awards, two American Music Awards, two MTV Awards and 11 Billboard Awards. Kelly recently won a Country Music Association award for Musical Event of the Year with Jason Aldean, for their hit single “Don’t You Wanna Stay.”
Texas native Clarkson first appeared on the public’s radar in 2002 during the first season of American Idol. Of course, Clarkson won and went on to become an international pop icon. Her previously released four studio albums are 2003’s double-platinum #1 Thankful, 2004’s six times-platinum Breakaway (which sold over 12 million copies worldwide, spawned five Top 10 hits, and stayed on the charts for two years), 2007’s platinum-selling My December, and 2009’s All I Ever Wanted, which debuted at #1 on the Billboard Top 200 and produced the smash singles “My Life Would Suck Without You” and “Already Gone.”
