More than 350 South Florida business leaders and philanthropists will rock out for charity during The Classic Rock & Roll Party at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Fla., on Saturday, Feb. 2. This unique and high-energy, rock-and-roll themed charity event benefits HomeSafe, a South Florida nonprofit organization dedicated to providing hope and healing for victims of child abuse and domestic violence.

Headlining the event is KC & the Sunshine Band, who has celebrated over 40 years of American disco and funk. They will be performing many of their hits, including“That’s the Way (I Like it),” “Get Down Tonight,” and “(Shake, Shake, Shake) Shake Your Booty.” The event host is Nicko McBrain, Iron Maiden Drummer and longtime friend of HomeSafe. Aggie & Jeff Stoops of Delray Beach, and Janessa & Steve Bernstein of Boca Raton are the party co-chairpersons. Former local radio DJ Jay Zeager will emcee the program.

“This is an exciting time for HomeSafe, and The Classic Rock & Roll Party gives us the perfect opportunity to celebrate our achievements,” said Matt Ladika, CEO of HomeSafe. “I’m thrilled that so many sponsors and supporters will be attending because their investment in this agency is what enables us to change clients’ lives for the better.”

During the event, Paradise Bank will be presented with the HomeSafe Hero Award for its longtime generous support of the organization. Established in 2005, Paradise Bank prides itself as being a great local bank committed to life-long customer relationships.

The Classic Rock & Roll Party is presented by Diamond Sponsors Seminole Hard Rock Hollywood, Bernstein Family Foundation, Paradise Bank, Stoops Family Foundation and the Harcourt M. & Virginia W. Sylvester Foundation.

“There is nothing more gratifying than to be a crusader for such a worthy cause and at such a fun-filled event,” McBrain said. “HomeSafe is dedicated to looking out for children who have suffered unspeakable trauma and providing caring adults to nurture them and giving them hope for a better future.”

In addition to the presenting sponsors, generous support is also being provided by Gold Sponsors MorseLife Health System, Verdex Construction, Schmidt Family Foundation, Bob Sheetz and Debbie Lindstrom, and the Gary Peters Family Foundation.
