The Junior League of Greater Fort Lauderdale kicks off its 15thannual Riverwalk Run with the Riverwalk Run Race Party on Thursday, April 2 at 6 p.m. with a nautical themed celebration at Fort Lauderdale’s Premier Waterfront Restaurant, Bimini Boatyard Bar & Grill. Enjoy Caribbean style fare while sipping on festive specialty cocktails, beer and wine. Spend the night shopping one-of-a-kind silent auction items, mingling with friends and making new ones.
Each year, over 1200 participants who include local runners, families and community leaders take part in the Riverwalk Run, Fort Lauderdale’s best race of the year to raise funds for the Junior League of Greater Fort community projects. In its 14-year history, the Riverwalk Run has raised over $750,000 which has directly benefited the Greater Fort Lauderdale community.
