A selection of artworks by Daata artists, originally presented by The Bass², a satellite gallery space of artwork native to the digital realm initiated by Bass Museum of Art, Miami Beach in July 2019. Coinciding with Miami Art Week and Art Basel in Miami Beach, the screening in collaboration with Daata and the New World Symphony will be presented in SoundScape Park on the wall of the New World Center. Joyous Dystopia is curated by David Gryn, Founder and Director of Daata and Leilani Lynch, curator at The Bass. All the artworks have been commissioned to coincide with their showing on @thebasssquared and @daataeditions with their subtly distorted, poeticised and commentary on readings, interpretations and postings of everyday and social media life.
