JAMILAH SABUR: THE HARVESTERS

The Bass is excited to announce the opening of Jamilah Sabur: The Harvesters on Thursday, October 13 from 12 – 5 PM during normal museum hours.
For The Harvesters, multidisciplinary artist Jamilah Sabur explores the intersections of geology, climatology, geography, memory and metaphysics with video, installation and visual artwork.
Sabur presents a series of works in an exciting solo exhibition that examines our planet’s geological rhythms, weather patterns and the experience of embodiment as interconnected to climate change, the depletion of resources and the physical movements associated with labor.
Jamilah Sabur: The Harvesters will be on view at The Bass October 13 through April 30, 2023.
The exhibition is part of the Knight Art Commissions Program funded by the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation. Generous support is provided by The Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts.
