Le Méridien Dania Beach and Culinary Consultant for the Design Center of the Americas 

 

Rogers Will Now Oversee Four Top Quality Restaurants: TORO Latin Kitchen & Tequila Library, Constellation Café, Cabana Café, and DCOTA Cay

 

Doug Hope, General Manager of Le Méridien Dania Beach, today announced that the luxurious hotel has promoted James Rogersfrom Executive Chef of TORO Latin Kitchen & Tequila Library to Executive Chef of all three of the location’s restaurants, including TORO,  Constellation Café, and Cabana Café. He will also oversee banquets and catering at the hotel, as well as serve as Culinary Consultant for DCOTA Cay, on the campus of the adjoining Design Center of the Americas.

As Executive Chef of TORO, Rogers worked directly with Celebrity Chef Richard Sandoval, earning outstanding reviews for food quality and service while maintaining the restaurant’s 5-star rating. Before joining TORO in 2020, he served as Executive Chef of the Trump National Doral Resort & Golf, as well as Executive Sous Chef at both the JW Marriott Marquis and Nobu Eden Roc Resort in Miami.
