Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood welcomed celebrity drivers and their supercars to the Guitar Hotel for the final stage of the Gumball 3000 rally on Wednesday, June 1. The event featured a live DJ, celebrity appearances and free giveaways including T-shirts, keychains, and food and beverage.
The rally, which began in Toronto on Friday, May 27, featured celebrity drivers like CeeLo Green, David Hasselhoff, Ken Griffey Jr. and more. The drivers donated money to be a part of the rally, raising more than $1 million for the Gumball 3000 Foundation, a non-profit organization that supports a variety of youth-based projects in low-income communities. The route included stops in Indianapolis, Nashville and Atlanta before arriving at Seminole Hard Rock Hollywood.
Among the participants was Councilman Christopher Osceola, the Tribal Council Representative for the Hollywood Reservation of the SeminoleTribe of Florida. “For the [Seminole] Tribe to be part of this, and to bring all these amazing people out to our property so we can showcase what the tribe has done here in South Florida, I think it’s truly a blessing,” Councilman Osceola said.
After the welcome rally, participants enjoyed a private party on the Guitar Hotel pool deck, featuring mermaids, fire dancers and jetpacks on the water, as well as private light shows on the iconic Guitar Hotel façade.
Gumball 3000 will wrap up its festivities on Friday, June 3 at DAER Dayclub at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood.
