Hot Nights Cool Jazz at the Bass Museum of Art

The Bass Museum of Art resumes its Hot Nights Cool Jazz series, a celebrated locals destination for culture, conversation and music. Beginning in June, the concert series will feature some of the best contemporary Jazz artists in South Florida. With complimentary beverages provided this Jazz series is the perfect way to kick off your weekend.

The concert lineup is listed below:

– June 15 – Jason Hainsworth Quartet
Saxophonist Jason Hainsworth will perform with piano, upright bass and drums. Concert will feature both original compositions and jazz standards in a swinging, modernjazz style.

– June 29 – Brian Murphy Trio
The Brian Murphy trio, consisting of Murphy on piano, John Yarling on drums and Chuck Bergeron on bass. The will be performing both original materials and selections from the American Songbook.

– July 13 Fernando Ulibarri Quartet

Guitarist/composer Fernando Ulibarri will perform with a quartet consisting of piano, bass, drums and guitar. Original compositions and arrangements of jazz standards will be showcased that evening.

– July 27 – Gary Campbell/Mike Gerber Duo
Two of the most respected musicians in South Florida, saxophonist Campbell and pianist Gerber will be performing both original compositions and jazz standards.
