More than 250 supporters of Hospice by the Sea, Inc. (HBTS) gathered on August 17th to “Party to the Max!” The generous donation of beverages and a variety of delicious hors d’oeuvres by Max’s Grille in Mizner Park helped to raise more than $7,000.00 at the festivities.
Among the dignitaries present were Deputy Mayor Susan Haynie and Boca Raton Chamber President and CEO, Troy M. McLennan, in addition to members of Hospice by the Sea, Inc. and HBTS Foundation board members. President and CEO of Hospice by the Sea, Paula J. Alderson, expressed her delight seeing so many people gathered together on a perfect summer evening. “We are indebted to Laura Huron, General Manager of Max’s Grille, for hosting this spectacular event. We recognize that community support is a critical component of our growth and this particular setting definitely helped attract such a large crowd.”
“Party To The Max!” was part of Boca Festival Days, a month-long series of fun-filled events facilitated by the Greater Boca Raton Chamber of Commerce. Each unique event is hosted by a different local business for the benefit of an area not-for-profit organization.
Partygoer, Sheila Gabel, a Financial Advisor with Merrill Lynch said, “This large crowd is reflective of the appreciation and respect held for Hospice by the Sea by our community. I want to support an organization that provides these vital services to residents of Broward as well as Palm Beach County.”
