HIALEAH PARK CASINO SIGNS HANSEL Y RAUL, CARLOS OLIVA, AND 3 DE LA HABANAHialeah Park Casino proudly announces that it has secured three of the most renowned tropical music acts as they aggressively move toward becoming the go-to venue for South Florida entertainment. Exclusive casino deals have been reached with Hansel y Raul, Carlos Oliva y Los Sobrinos del Juez, and 3 de la Habana, which is just the beginning of a rush of talent that is flooding Hialeah Park Casino as they prepare for their summer opening.

Hialeah Park Casino, which recently announced Grammy award-winning Willy Chirino as it’s ambassador, is currently in negotiations with an array of other tropical music artists with announcements to come shortly. The roster will participate in a series of concerts aptly named “Salsa under the Stars.”

The agreements with Hansel y Raul, Carlos Oliva y los Sobrino del Juez, and 3 de la Habana for the “Salsa under the Stars” concert series showcases three accomplished, and very popular acts. The multi-Grammy award-winning and platinum album certified Hansel y Raul are considered legends at their craft, and were proclaimed by TIME Magazine: “The Greatest Cuban Dance Band in the World.” Their brand of music has spread worldwide, and greatly influenced the landscape of Tropical music as we know it today.

Carlos Oliva, born in Cuba, came to Miami and quickly made a name for himself as a musician and vocalist before forming the band Los Sobrinos del Juez. Their unique fusion of Cuban music, Salsa, Afro beats, Samba, Jazz, and Rock became known as the “Miami Sound” which TIME Magazine credits Oliva with initiating. Los Sobrinos del Juez saw their numerous hits take them on tours throughout the United States, Latin America, and Europe.

3 de la Habana, led by German Pinelli, Ana Paez, and Ari Pinelli got their start in Cuba in 1993. Relocating to Miami in 2007, 3 de la Habana displayed the kind of musical innovation which lead Ocean Drive Magazine to proclaim them as “the sensation of the moment in Miami.” 3 de la Habana has released five studio albums, and has toured widely to positive critical acclaim.

Hialeah Park which is considered “THE” racetrack by horse racing enthusiasts is currently undergoing a major transformation which will bring a gorgeous new casino and will revitalize one of South Florida’s gems. Hialeah Park’s renovation, which is just Phase 1 of a bolder future plan, will showcase a casino that will house 870 slots, 20 poker tables, and 3 domino tables along with a variety of lounges, cafes and restaurants. Construction crews are currently working around the clock to unveil the casino this summer.
