Gucci celebrated the festive season in style on December 3, unveiling a stunning new installation at Sweet Bird North Plaza in the heart of Miami’s Design District. Inspired by enchanted snow globes and the brand’s rich travel heritage, the installation immerses guests in the whimsical world of Gucci, showcasing the House’s storied narrative through a vibrant visual experience.
The exclusive event drew an impressive array of celebrities, tastemakers, and industry leaders, including Gucci Deputy CEO Stefano Cantino, supermodel Alessandra Ambrosio, artist Corydon Cowansage, and tennis icon Venus Williams. Guests were treated to an evening of revelry, with DJ sets from Tiffy Vera and Carlita setting a lively atmosphere as they mingled over cocktails and hors d’oeuvres.
Located between Gucci’s two boutiques, the holiday installation is available for public viewing through January 7, providing a delightful holiday experience. Attendees can enjoy ice cream from local favorite Peel, along with coffee and baked goods from the renowned Italian bakery Rosetta during select times. Families can also engage in weekend coloring activities for children, making it a true community gathering spot.
In collaboration with American artist Corydon Cowansage, Gucci has introduced a series of Art Wall takeovers featuring three vibrant murals. These artworks, inspired by Cowansage’s existing pieces, depict biomorphic shapes in lush colors that evoke a sense of movement and depth, harmonizing beautifully with her upcoming participation at Miami Art Basel starting December 4.
As the night progressed, the plaza transformed into an elegant private party, where laughter and music filled the air. The night culminated in an intimate dinner at Mother Wolf, where guests continued the festivities against the backdrop of Gucci’s enchanting holiday theme.
With its blend of art, fashion, and community engagement, Gucci’s latest installation promises to capture the imagination of all who visit, ensuring a memorable holiday season in Miami.
