GORDON RAMSAY TO STAR IN BLOCKBUSTER CULINARY COMPETITION “MASTERCHEF” ON FOX
FOX and the producers of THE BIGGEST LOSER are seeking the nation’s most talented amateur chefs…the Miami area casting call will be held at Whole Foods Market in Coral Gables on Sunday, January 17th.
Famed chef Gordon Ramsay and the producers of The Biggest Loser are bringing MASTERCHEF, a new culinary competition series based on the smash hit U.K. and Australian format, to FOX.
Contestants on MASTERCHEF will be put through the paces with various challenges as they compete head-to-head to create delicious dishes. The series is a unique platform for budding chefs from all walks of life who want to follow their dream of working as a professional chef!
“MASTERCHEF has already become a cultural phenomenon in the U.K. and Australia, breaking ratings records in two of the world’s biggest markets,” said Mark Koops and Howard T. Owens, Managing Directors of Reveille, the producers of “The Biggest Loser”. “We’re excited to work with FOX to replicate that success.”
FOX is currently seeking every day people who can cook well despite never having been formally trained. Southern Florida’s amateur chefs, passionate foodies, ultimate dinner party host/hostesses, etc, are all invited to attend the casting call!
Serving on-site as judges for the would-be chefs will be local food personalities Frank Randazzo, chef/owner of Talula restaurant and Creative Tastes Catering, and Join Us at the Table radio show co-host Robbie Bell.
